It's not just about ruined cities

It's not just about ruined cities

A red sea escape.

When most people think of Egypt their minds drift to the archaeological marvels of the ancient Egyptians and the thousands of years of artifacts and antiquity left behind, and more over it's massive cities that have stood through the eons and remain alive today. However many people don't think about some of the other things Egypt has to offer. C',on, grab your scuba gear and lets go shark watching. Ask your mummy first I don't want you getting into trouble.....okay that was horrible, I'll do better next time.

Lets not forget that Egypt is not landlocked, this means taking time away from sand in your shoes to sand in your shorts and a romp in the waves! One place that has gained great praise is the town of Hurghada on the Red Sea. This once small fishing village has bloomed into a growing resort town that offers a wide range of activities to visitors. Hurghada some wonderful beaches, with some of the clearest water in the world. Diving is a major activity here, allowing guests to visit beautiful coral reefs full of colorful fish, including lionfish, as well as the chance to spot schools of hammer head sharks and the massive yet docile and rare Whale Shark.

If Diving is not your thing there is no need to worry. The town also has many other forms of water sports, as well as a multitude of shopping locations as well as a active nightlife. Currently there are over a hundred hotels to choose from, and a multitude of activities that make Hurghada a place to consider visiting when touring Egypt.
